UnUni offers non-academic professionals, retired experts, independent reseachers, as well as master’s and PhD students (who are not offered teaching opportunities by their home institutions) a space to design and teach structured online seminars and semesters without needing a PhD, a university appointment, or academic bureaucracy.

Universities do not have a monopoly on serious teaching.

Each UnUni seminar or semester begins with a committed group of attending students, with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 participants. Students who meet participation expectations—including attendance, engagement, and respectful conduct—receive a participation stipend throughout the program.
